Punchestown 14th October 2025

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. H. T. Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr K.P. Healy, rider of Expert Analysis, weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had a drink of water after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record, they therefore cautioned him on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the start of this race involving Expert Analysis, ridden by Mr K.P. Healy, where it appeared that Expert Analysis manoeuvered right causing interference . Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Expert Analysis had ran free, despite the riders best efforts, causing interference in the process and as such no further action was warranted.

J. W. Kennedy, rider of Button Rock, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the early stages of the race and then hung left underpressure.

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Back Light, trained by Kieran P Egan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Demanding Gerry, trained by James Andrew Fahey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame on its left fore post race.

P. M. O'Brien, rider of Massabielle, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Gracie C, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise in the home straight.
